What is worth including in your enquiry
- The type of examinations and your specialty - for example radiology, cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedics, sports medicine, veterinary medicine.
- The expected number of examinations and your mode of work: a consulting room, a diagnostic imaging suite, a hospital ward, bedside examinations, mobile examinations.
- The probes required - convex, linear, phased array, endocavity - and the options you need (for example Doppler, elastography, measurement packages).
- Your intended budget and form of financing: purchase from your own funds, leasing, a loan, or grant funding.
- Whether the purchase is being conducted through a public tender, together with the deadline for submitting bids.
- For an MRI enquiry - the planned location and the space available in the imaging suite.
- The equipment you use at present, if the new system is to replace or complement it.
